Stop by the Clare VFW from 1-5 pm to try out different types of canoes & kayaks.  We will have a Reps on hand from the following brands: Pelican Kayaks, Old Town, Wilderness Systems, Ocean Kayak, Perception, Necky, Dagger, Mad River Canoes, Carlisle Paddles, Extra Sport, AT Accessories and Pelican Dry Boxes.

Stop by Otsego Lake State Park in Gaylord from 2-6 pm to try out different types of canoes & kayaks.  We will have a Reps on hand from the following brands: Wilderness, Dagger, Perception, Mad River and Harmony. (A DNR Recreation Passport is required for entry into the State Park)  

Jay’s Sporting Goods, Gaylord is partnering with the Headwaters Chapter of Trout Unlimited to host a Hope for Outdoor Women evening. The purpose of our event is to raise awareness for women battling cancer, in remission, or survivors. We know how therapeutic engaging in an outdoor activity can be for the body and soul. It is our hope to create awareness, raise funds, and share different outdoor activities in a setting that is comfortable for women. This women only, after hours experience starts at 6:30 pm-8:30pm is limited to 250 guests . All proceeds raised will be donated to the Reeling and Healing Program and the Oncology Department at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Jay’s Sporting Goods would like to invite you to participate in this meaningful evening.

Both Jay's Clare & Gaylord locations will be closed July 4th. Resuming regular business hours Friday July 5th.
