The 5th Annual Winter Carnival at Camp Rotary from 10am-4pm to help celebrate winter and provide non-Scouting and Scouting youth with a chance to try a variety of winter sports including snowshoeing, Ice Fishing, Cross Country Skiing, Winter Survival, Outdoor Cooking and demonstrations with GPS Units, Dog Sledding, Animal Trapping, Muzzel Loading & Archery for more information please call Camp Rotary at 989-386-7943.

Join Jay's for our annual Fishing Days During this 3 day event there will be great savings throughout the Fishing Department. Bring your reels in and we will spool them with Maxima, Trilene XL & XT, Stren Original or Berkley Big Game (2 lbs to 20 lbs.) for 1 cent per yard on bulk fishing line. Reps will be on hand to answer your questions Saturday the 24th at the Clare Store only. Take advantage of this weekend to get geared up for your 2012 fishing season.

17th Annual Quiet Water Symposium

The 17^th Annual Quiet Water Symposium will be held at the MSU Agricultural Pavilion, March 3, 2012. From 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The symposium is part of Michigan State University’s Agriculture & Natural Resources Week.

At the Symposium visitors will find presentations by world famous authors, photographers, and expedition travelers. Other presentations may cover skills, safety, local and distant destinations. There may be presentations on bicycling, sailing, diving, and history.

The Symposium has a wide range of exhibits on the show floor. You will find clubs and nature centers. Handcrafted and historic watercraft will be on display. Biking, hiking and water trails are represented. Conservation and watershed groups are available. A number of outfitters and liveries are represented to support your outdoor adventures.
